LAST UPDATED: June 20, 2020, 11:00 a.m. EDT: After introducing the adobe photoshop app for android and iOS last week. Adobe now rolls out Major updates to Photoshop, Lightroom, And Other CC Apps. In the latest Adobe photoshop update, adobe provided major changes to cc cloud software. This adobe update is one of the biggest updates done to cc apps after Adobe MAX.
1. Adobe Photoshop: Improvements and Updates
Adobe has added various new features such as a user-friendly interface for Camera Raw, improved Select Subject in Photoshop, and hue control for Local Adjustments, etc. Adobe has drastically improved the subject selection feature. Now, tools will have more control over subject than objects. The match font features of photos also got updated with new fonts and better selection of the”area of the font”, Vertical text, and multiple line-detection features. All these updates will help to improve the subject selection. This will provide better isolation of the subject from the object.
Select Subject with Portrait Power: This feature will provide the ability to select any subject with just one click. This will provide better results with the same single-click, with a deep emphasis on hair, that was much complicated in the previous version of adobe photoshop.
Rotatable Patterns: This feature will let adobe users rotate the property of patterns, similar to adjusting the scale of a pattern. The new feature of Adobe fonts auto-activation is also added in photoshop. This will let all the fonts automatically activated when Photoshop is launched.
Lightroom Classic CC: Improvements and Updates
Performance Improvements: Adobe lightroom cc is updated to provide smooth editing and better performance. The evergreen “lag time” of using the tools has drastically decreased in this update.
UI Improvements: Several icons of the user interface have been updated to provide a fresh experience to users. Some of the updated icons are Sync, Tone Curve, and Color.
Local Hue Adjustment: You can now locally adjust and fine-tune the Hue. This will let you adjust and edit the color of any specific area of the image without impacting the color in the rest of your image.
ISO Adaptive Presets: With New Lightroom classic cc update, you can now create an ISO adaptive preset within Lightroom Classic. In order to do this follow the step listed below:
- Identify two or more images with different ISO.
- Make necessary edits to these images.
- Select these images and click Create Preset.
- In the New Preset dialog box, select Create ISO adaptive preset at the bottom of the dialog box and click Create.
Centered Crop Overlay: This will allow you to perform a crop of images more precisely. With New Lightroom classic cc update users have the new option of a 2×2 grid overlay while cropping an image.
New Defaults presets: Several new presets are added to lightroom classic cc. You can easily select any preset just at the beginning, to do the editing.
Adobe Premiere Pro CC: Improvements and Key Updates
Video editing app adobe premiere pro cc got a huge update of stock audios. The newly added update will allow you to find many license royalty-free audio soundtracks inside the dashboard. You can use these soundtracks in your own personal or commercial projects.
Afterburn support for iOS: iOS users can now use the Apple Afterburner card feature with Premiere Pro to decode ProRes 422 and ProRes 4444 media.
New file format support: Adobe Premiere Pro added supports to the following file formats:
- Import of Canon EOS R5 footage
- Enhanced bitrate controls for JPEG 2000 MXF export
- Import of RED Komodo footage
- Import of Canon EOS-1D X Mark III footage
Illustrator and InDesign: New Updates
Adobe Illustrator has provided cloud document support for its users. Adding this support simply means users can save whatever they are editing inside the dashboard. Adobe is also planning to launch the share feature to let users share their editing with other users.
Apart from illustrator, InDesign already got the feature “Share for Review”. This allows users to share the edited document with friends and colleagues to get their response to the project. This feature is provided in the InDesign app where users can also chat with colleagues to get their feedback.
