LAST UPDATED: July 1, 2020, 12:00 a.m. EST: Summers are fun for Children but 2020 doesn’t let them do what they planned from the starting of yaar. Due to Covid-19, Children are not able to go out, enjoy a picnic, and summer camps, etc. Camp Google 20 is a new initiative by the Mountain View-based tech giant that aims at offering a bunch of experiences that aim at not just being fun but also informative in nature. Google announced its plan to hold a virtual summer camp for kids, tired of Quarantine. Camp Google 2020 will run for almost two weeks in which children will be able to explore more, virtually with cool assignments and activities.

This camp will start on 1st July and will run for two weeks continuously. Children participating in Camp Google 2020, will get  5 different assignments and activities to do that can be accessed via a dedicated website. All these 5 assignments will consist of a set of questions and instructions that the children will need to follow to be eligible for prizes at the end of the summer camp.

We will share exciting and innovative assignments with your kids to help them explore skills such as painting, writing, storytelling, arts & crafts, coding and cooking. These assignments, carefully designed by our team of creative experts and your favourite YouTubers, will help spark creativity and curiosity, in the kids. They will also include internet safety tips which will teach them how to be responsible digital citizens while being safe online. — Google

After the assignments are done, Google will organize a virtual session for children with psychology experts to motivate them. Some famous YouTubers will also take part in this virtual session.

The final date of submission for all assignments is 20. 7. 2020. Children can sing in for this virtual summer camp with their Email ID. A unique identification number will be provided by Google. Children need to submit all the assignments with the same Email ID. At the end of the summer camp children could get an opportunity to receive e-certificates, have sessions and courses with the creators, and many more exciting prizes!
