But hope for the natives and tourists has arrived after Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak announced about Las Vegas Casinos Reopening from June 4. As an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus, Las Vegas was completely shut down and all activity was stopped in this area. Being a dense tourist place, Las Vegas had the highest chance of Community transfer of Coronavirus.
On March 18, the Las Vegas’s 219 commercial casinos were ordered to be closed until the next orders. This shut down not only stopped all the economic activity but also made Nevada, the most unemployed state of the United States with 33.5 percent of the unemployment rate. Thousands of tourists workers were Forced to leave their jobs due to COVID- 19.

“We’ve taken every precaution possible. I don’t think you’re going to find a safer place to come than Las Vegas by June 4, with the protocols that we’ve put in place, than the testing that we’ve put in place, with the contact tracing that will be in place by that time,” Sisolak said. “We’re encouraging visitors to come and enjoy themselves and have a good time.”

Travel bookings to Las Vegas have also hiked suddenly just after the Las Vegas Casinos reopening statement was given. Orbitz said “Flight and hotel searches for Las Vegas increased for the week of June 4-11 compared with the previous week” Las Vegas casinos reopening decision gave a new rise to the State economy and employment.
